Dairy Bowl
The Dairy Bowl Program is designed to encourage youth to increase their dairy knowledge through study and preparation for the contest. Youth learn life skills as they prepare for contests - critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, communication skills, listening skills, speaking skills and independent thinking. Participants have opportunities to meet other students from across the U.S. They experience the value of teamwork, character building, and goal setting. Youth gain knowledge in dairy nutrition, milk quality, herd health, breeding and genetics, marketing, dairy foods, calf raising and all cattle breeds.

Dairy Jeopardy

Modeled after the popular television game show, youth can test their dairy knowledge on an individual basis. The national contest has three age divisions: junior - ages 9-13, intermediate - ages 14-17, and senior - ages 18-21. The contestants demonstrate their ability to think on their feet and wager based on their knowledge of topics from "Milk production" to "Nutrition."
