About the award
The Raymond LeBlanc Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in memory of Raymond LeBlanc, a lifelong member of Holstein Association USA and respected cattle salesman and ring man. Owner of Burton Hill Farm in Barton, Vermont, Raymond was known for his integrity, tireless work ethic, and his infectious smile. Fluent in both English and French, he built lasting relationships and merchandised high-end Registered Holsteins worldwide. The scholarship honors his generosity, professionalism, and devotion to family and the Holstein breed.
Eligibility Criteria
Current National Holstein Association USA adult or junior member.
Current U.S. citizen enrolled full-time at a U.S. university as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must have dairy or agriculture related experiences and career aspirations.
Award Details
Interested youth are required to complete an application with information on academics, dairy industry involvement, community service, and more.
The top recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship. Individuals are eligible to receive this scholarship only once.
